Keep It Simple — Even In Political Advertising

Much of the political advertising today — especially for the Presidential election has been about negative advertising and “name calling.”

That’s why it was refreshing to see this billboard for a County Treasurer in Monroe County, Indiana.

Ann Collins features two important facts that I would think are critical for the job of County Treasure.  The billboard proclaims

“I wont’ cheat” and , perhaps most important, “I know how to count.”

I assume all candidates for the job would have those qualifications, but it is refreshing to know some politicians are back to the basics of campaigning.

I don’t know if she will win, but she has sure received a lot of publicity throughout the country.
